Jimi:Seve is a combination gourmet cooking store / restaurant, located on Beijing Xi Lu. The interior is very bright and colorful, while the open area kitchen made me feel like us had stepped into a Trattoria somewhere in Florence or Rome (albeit a brand spaking new, high-tech version).
We tried a couple of pizzas (recommended) and the carpaccio (some of the pieces were still "frozen" - a definite no no).
Howeverm Jimi:Seve’s pizza is done right – thin-crust and wood-fired, just like back in Italia. The pasta, which arrived in relatively small portions, were also pretty tasty and recommended.
The outdoor patio behind the restaurant is a great place to have a meal (weather permitting), as well as for sipping an after-dinner Amaretto on the rocks.
