In a Sentence: Great views of People's Park and the surrounding skyline.

Our Review: OPENED: November 1, 2005 (LUNCH ONLY)

Moca Caffe / Ristorante Italiano is located on the 3rd floor of Shanghai's Museum of Contemporary Art and is perfect place to grab a bite to eat either before or after a visit to MOCA.

Moca Caffe creates an elegant and secluded environment in the city’s heart with open eyeshot. Its unique location in People's Park, surrounded by city landmarks, including: the Shanghai Grand Theater, Shanghai Art Museum, and Shanghai Museum, give diners one of the best city skyline views in Shanghai.

Marco, the Shanghainese chef who spent 17 years in Rome and Milan, turns out reliable Italian favroites including: Osso Buco, a delicious Porcini Mushroom Risotto, a tasty (but small) salmon carpaccio, as well as several types of pizzas.

Appetizers range from 128-158RMB, while main courses are 218-280RMB. Although Moca is only open for lunch, it will be strongly recommended for a romantic evening once dinners are served (hopefully, sometime in December 2005).
