In opening Nadaman Japanese Restaurant, the Pudong Shangri-La has introduced 175 years of traditional Japanese cuisine to Shanghai.
Opened in mid-2005, Nadaman offers guests a taste of the finest in Japanese culinary art, served in a contemporary Japanese setting, designed by internationally recognized Japanese interior design house, Super Potato Co. Ltd.
The traditional Japanese Kaiseki-ryouri is Nadaman’s signature set menu, and reflects the best of seasonal produce and fresh ingredients, artistically presented, both in food content as well in the choice of unique table top designs.
To suit the Chief Japanese Chef Fumito Suzuki’s sharp eye for creative presentations, 470 different kinds of table top items were made to order in Japan, especially for this restaurant.
With 25 restaurants in Japan and seven overseas – namely in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Beijing – Nadaman's debut in Shanghai has been welcomed with open arms.
