Inside of Jing An Park near Nanjing Xi Lu, is Club Deep (formerly known as JA Lounge), a new dance club frequented by locals more so than expats.
Our suggestion is to bypass the cramped first floor bar area. And instead, opt for the more open and cavernous main floor that houses an electric blue bar, dance floor, catwalk for go go dancers overhead (weekends only), sofas around the permeter, and several “VIP” rooms - for those of you who like your "space".
As you ascend to the top of the stairs, you will be greeted by strobing, multi-colored lights, and house/techno beats that seem to reverberate off the high cement walls.
Drinks, which were nothing special, were 45-50RMB.
