If you are hungering for a good old-fashioned American diner, then Moon River Diner will be your oasis in the desert. The menu is all-American, with some of the best burgers, shakes, and fries in all of Shanghai.
Although the original Moon River Diner is across the river in Hongqiao, the second location, in Pudong's family-friendly Jinqiao neighborhood, seems to be better situated for the masses of families and kids who will undoubtedly flock there on weekends.
If you go for breakfast, the Eggs Benedict are one of the best in Shanghai - and if you're there for lunch or dinner, then definitely have one of their delicious burgers (and fries).
