Hooters of Pudong, hosted its grand opening celebration on May 19, 2006. This is the 2nd Hooters location in China, of the 4 slated to be open by this year’s end, including one in Beijing and the other in Hangzhou
Hooters Pudong is about as American as a restaurant/bar in Shanghai can get. Buckets of chicken wings, picthers of cold beer, college basketball on the TVs, and of course, HOOTERS............ paraphernalia for sale everywhere.
If you are looking for a traditional Chinese meal, or traditional Chinese culture, you should stay as far away from this place as possible. You will be sadly disappointed.
