There are far better venues to listen to house and techno music in Shanghai, but if you find yourself stuck in Pudong and don't feel like schleping over the Puxi, the the Aegean Sea Club, located right next door to the Novotel Atlantis Hotel, might do the trick.
However, be forewarned, the few times we've been there, the music was thumpin', but the place was empty.
